Over the last 2 years, I have looked forward to my monthly NB sessions with Sharon, which I have dubbed “my emotional spa time”. I came in a bit skeptical, but was desperate because I was dealing with a chronic infection that was seemingly taking my life hostage, and doctor’s prescriptions only helped minimally and temporarily. Before my first session, I had broken out in a full body allergic reaction to a medication that was my last hope for relief.

After my first session with Sharon, I was no longer allergic to the medication, the chemical burn dissipated, and I experienced the first sign of relief from the discomfort of the infection! I haven’t missed a session since.

Over these two years, I have worked from the “outside - inside”. My physical health was the first priority, and gradually I have been able to tackle behavioural, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual areas that needed my attention. My life has changed! I’ve lost 20 lbs, and have experienced breakthroughs in multiple areas of my life. In partnership with Sharon, this healing journey has been - and continues to be - an exciting adventure.

I first started seeing Sharon for Natural Bioenergetic sessions in 2016. I had chronic pain and inflammation from rheumatoid arthritis, was overweight and generally fairly miserable. My first session with Sharon I was so blown away at how she knew what I was thinking just by using my arm! Over the next couple years Sharon calmly and confidently worked me through dealing with food and chemical sensitivities/detox, emotional blocks and held trauma and finally accessing joy and hope again. Her office became one of my favourite places to be. I’m so very grateful for her and my life is forever changed for the better (including pain free)! Sharon is kind, wise, humble and extremely talented at what she does! You won’t regret working with her!

It’s been 6 months since I received the call at work from the Dr telling me my husband didn’t make it – he died suddenly of a heart attack. I didn’t think I would survive. I am not unfamiliar with trauma, loss and grief having witnessed my father shot dead in front of me during the troubles in Ireland so I knew I couldn’t survive my husband’s death alone. I immediately called Sharon at Bioenergetics by Design to book appointments. My health is important to me and I knew they could help me in ways other healing modalities could not.

Here I am 6 months later and I am amazed at where I am at on the journey. There have been times I went into sessions with what felt like a concrete block in my chest, with no room for my heart to breathe and left with spaciousness and peace. There were sessions that helped me process my anger, sadness and tears, enabling my body to release and process these uncomfortable emotions.

I feel where I’m at mentally, emotionally and physically 6 months later is where many may be 2 years from now or even 10 years. I invested in my healing and now live more freely. I am worth it and so are you.

My son was born at 31 weeks gestation. He had many delays in his development. We took him to all the development therapy and speech therapy that was offered to him before kindergarten. When it was time for him to go to school, it became evident very quickly that he wasn’t ready to handle the classroom or playground setting. He would go into stimulation overload and in response would tantrum and try to run away from the school or fall asleep in the middle of the busy classroom. If he stayed in the classroom for 45 minutes in the day, it was considered a successful school day for my son. This was a very overwhelming season for both him and I. I felt hopeless yet I knew there needed to be more help for him than what was being offered.

I started to take him to Sharon Mathews for Natural Bioenergetics™ sessions. I was amazed by how she was able to keep his attention and how calm and judgment free her office environment was. We very quickly started to see positive changes for my son. It started by him being able to play at recess with other kids without the panic, he was then able to join in activities that used to be too loud or busy for him. A few more sessions in he was able to stay at school for half day with the constant help of a teacher aid. Within a few months (5-6 sessions) he was able to fully participate in a classroom setting without the teacher aid and focus on the tasks before him.

We could not believe that many of the things we were told he “would just never be able to do” were beginning to happen within such a short time. To this day we are still experiencing the awe and excitement of what he is able to do now, things that we thought he would just never be able to. We as a family continue to book sessions with Bioenergetics by Design and could fill a book with the ways we have benefited from Natural Bioenergetics™ sessions.

I've been a client since June 2019 and have experienced a noticeable increase in my health due to these sessions. I was scheduled for a surgery on May 31 for the second time for the same issue within 12 months. I wanted to be as well prepared for it as possible so I scheduled a long distance video appointment with Sarah.

I let her know my difficulties with my food digestion, energy, mobility, and my apprehensions around the surgery. After she identified what my body needed, to my surprise, four fears that I was barely consciously aware of became a prominent part of the session.
